Membership Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the Food Art membership programme in the Food Art Hong Kong store and apply to orders placed on the Food Art Hong Kong website. Each other Food Art market has its own terms, with its own figures.
1. Membership
1.1 Membership is free and open to customers who create an account on the Food Art Hong Kong website.
1.2 A customer may hold one membership account per store. Duplicate accounts within the same store may be merged or closed.
1.3 Accounts held in different Food Art stores are separate. Points, tiers and vouchers belong to the store that issued them and do not transfer between stores.
1.4 Membership, points and rewards are personal to the member. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.
1.5 Points are earned only on purchases made on the Food Art Hong Kong website. Purchases made on marketplaces or any other sales channel do not earn points.
2. Earning Points
2.1 Members earn 1 point for every HK$1 spent on eligible purchases. Shipping fees and taxes do not earn points.
2.2 Points are credited once the order is completed.
2.3 Points earned on an order that is later cancelled, refunded or returned are deducted. Where those points have already been redeemed, the deduction is applied to the member's balance and may be recovered from points earned later.
2.4 Points expire 12 months after the date they are earned. Points expire by batch, so each batch expires on its own anniversary rather than the whole balance expiring at once.
3. Membership Tiers
3.1 There are three tiers.

3.2 Tier is set by qualifying points: the points a member has earned in the preceding 12 months. Redeeming points does not reduce qualifying points, so spending points never costs a member their tier.
3.3 Qualifying points are assessed continuously. A member moves up as soon as they reach a threshold, and moves down only if the points earned in the preceding 12 months fall below the threshold for their current tier.
3.4 Food Art may change the tier thresholds on 30 days' notice to members.
4. Tier Rewards
4.1 Tier-up rewards are issued once, the first time a member reaches each tier. Each can be claimed once per account, whatever happens to the member's tier afterwards.
4.2 Tier-up vouchers are valid for one month from the date of issue.
4.3 Free pack rewards are subject to stock availability. Food Art may substitute a product of similar value.
4.4 Free shipping applies to local delivery within Hong Kong only and does not apply to international orders. Each free-shipping voucher requires a minimum spend of HK$300.
4.5 Unused tier benefits do not carry over to the next period.
5. Birthday Rewards
5.1 A member receives 300 points the first time they save their date of birth to their account. This is a one-time reward.
5.2 To receive a birthday voucher in a given year, the date of birth must be saved at least 30 days before the birthday. A date saved less than 30 days before the birthday takes effect the following year; the one-time reward in 5.1 is still given straight away.
5.3 The birthday voucher is issued in the member's birthday month and is valid for one month from the date of issue.
5.4 The birthday discount depends on the member's tier when the voucher is issued: Premium 15%, Elite 20%. Classic members do not receive a birthday discount.
5.5 A birthday voucher is issued at most once a year. If a member changes their date of birth after a voucher has been issued, the next voucher is issued in the following year.
6. Sign-Up Coupon
6.1 A customer who creates a membership account receives a welcome coupon for 10% off their next order.
6.2 The coupon is valid for one month from the date of issue and applies to a single order in the Food Art Hong Kong store.
6.3 The coupon is issued once per account and is not reissued if it expires unused.
7. Referrals
7.1 Members can refer a friend using the referral link on their account page.
7.2 When a referred friend places their first qualifying order, the friend and the referring member each receive a voucher for HK$45 off an order of HK$300 or more.
7.3 Referral vouchers are valid for one month from the date of issue.
7.4 Referrals between accounts held by the same person, and accounts created in order to claim referral rewards, do not qualify. Food Art may cancel vouchers issued on such referrals.
8. Redeeming Points
8.1 Points can be redeemed for the vouchers and rewards listed on the member's account page. Each reward shows the number of points it costs.
8.2 Some rewards require a minimum spend. Where they do, the minimum is stated on the reward.
8.3 A redeemed voucher is valid for one month from the date of redemption.
8.4 Once points are redeemed they cannot be reversed or refunded, except at Food Art's discretion.
8.5 Vouchers and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
9. Using Vouchers and Rewards
9.1 Only one order discount may be used per order. Order discounts include the Welcome 10%, tier-up vouchers, birthday vouchers and vouchers redeemed with points. Order discounts may be used together with product discounts shown on the product page.
9.2 Vouchers can be used only in the Food Art Hong Kong store.
9.3 A voucher that expires unused is not reissued, and the points spent on it are not returned.
9.4 A voucher cannot be applied to an order that has already been placed.
10. Misuse
10.1 Food Art may suspend or close an account, and cancel points, vouchers and rewards, where it identifies fraud, abuse or misuse of the programme.
10.2 Food Art may correct or remove points or rewards credited in error.
10.3 Where an account is closed under this section, the points and unused vouchers it holds are forfeited.
11. Changes to the Programme
11.1 Food Art reserves the right to amend these terms, change the benefits and rewards offered, or end the programme, on 30 days' notice to members by email or on the Food Art Hong Kong website.
11.2 If the programme ends, members have 30 days from the date of the notice to redeem the points in their balance. Points not redeemed by then lapse.
11.3 In the case of a dispute, Food Art's decision is final.
A member who also holds an account in another Food Art store is covered by that store's own terms for that account.
